A worthy quote

I came across this quote on a website today that is worth sharing...

“Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”

The quote is from the website of a very worthy Friendly Faces Helping Hands Foundation that provides support to families from regional areas that have to visit hospitals in larger cities. In some ways, it has synergies with the objectives of Ronald Macdonald Houses and the Rotary House project that our own club is supporting in Warrnambool.

As an aside, the quote could just as easily be the motto of those intrepid Port Fairy Golfing Rotarians who know all too well that, when out on the Port Fairy Golf Course in winter, you do have to learn to dance in the rain!
