The Rotary Club of Port Fairy is part of Rotary District 9780 and meets every Monday evening in the Star of the West Hotel at 7pm in picturesque Port Fairy, one of Australia's top tourist destinations surrounded by stunning beaches and the beautiful Moyne River.  Port Fairy is an intimate, historic harbour village that boasts a great heritage.  It is truly a great place to live and visit.

The Club held its Charter meeting on 25th March 1961 and since its inception has held an average membership of approximately 20 with a peak of 33 and a low of 9 members.  It currently is enjoying a membership of 30 having grown its base by 29% in 2010-11.

The Club has a good mix of male and female members which makes it a very amiable club to join and its age profile spans 30 something to 97!  It is active on many community-based projects including programs with local schools, Meals on Wheels, Community House, preservation of the Charles Mills Reserve and Griffith Island as well as other foreshore and town projects.
