Annual Car Raffle
The Rotary Club of Port Fairy will again use the annual Car Raffle (organised by the Rotary Club of Ballarat) as its major fundraising effort.
This year we have successfully increased our allocation of tickets to 1500 (previously 1000 were sold each year by our Club) so the financial yield this year should be be even greater.

Unfortunately, this means more effort is required by Club members to sell tickets and a comprehensive roster has now been framed to sell tickets in the town between 21st October 2011 and 28th January 2012. In total we have 28 selling days split into two x 2-hour sessions with typically two people per session. This means we have a whopping 112 spots to cover amounting to 224 man hours of selling!
Members should allocate themselves to the Raffle Roster by logging into the Members Only section of the website and clicking on Events. Select the CAR RAFFLE option and assign yourself to one or many of the available by clicking on the Volunteering link. Volunteer online.
This year, the Car Raffle will be organised by Geoff Coxall but the rostering will be handled by Harry Bracegirdle who will keep the roster details up-to-date in the ClubRunner website. This doesn't mean that Harry will enter every person to the listing and Club members are encouraged to assign themselves, online to the roster. Remember, you can readily change your commitment if something else arises. It is imperative that we cover the first 10 or so sessions in October and November ASAP so that planning can procceed.
