At the meeting held on the 12 April 2017, the Board adopted a Child Safe Policy for our Club.
The policy has 7 Standards which the club has adopted to ensure our Club is committed to child safety.    It has confirmed that all new members inducted from the 1 January 2017 must hold a Working with Children Card and also we will encourage all existing members to also obtain a Working with Children Card.  It also commits our Club to only use members and volunteers that have obtained a Working with Children Card at events where interaction with children is likely.
The Club has also appointed John Clue as a Child Safety Person responsible for responding to any complaints or concerns.
In addition to this, all Members will be required to sign a Code of Conduct which outlines appropriate standards of behaviour by adults towards children.
