Club holds successful Trivia Night
The Rotary Club of Port Fairy held a very successful Trivia Night at the Star of the West Hotel on Monday 25th February 2013.
The event was attended by over 90 people from a variety of groups and raised ~$770 for the Club.
In all there was 90 competitors and 3 "workers" including guest Quizmaster, Pauline McDonald.
The night, which included a 2-course meal featured not only the six rounds of Trivia that was hotly contested but also a raffle for a hamper of goods.
The Club is grateful for the sponsorship received from local businesses who provided a wealth of prizes by way of goods and vouchers.
Other Rotary clubs who attended were from Warrnambool, Portland and Camperdown. Additionally, the Port Fairy & District Community Bank and other Port Fairy groups helped the event by entering teams.
The winning team was called "Locked In" from the Rotary Club of Portland who took home goods and vouchers in excess of $700.
