Our newest Rotarian, Shane Morris, is proving to be a person who attracts good luck.

Recently, during he time of the Port Fairy Cup, he attended the special Cup Dinner at the Star of the West and took out a few tickets in the raffle.  His good luck meant that he came away with first prize and a vintage bottle of Penfold's Grange which he vows to cellar for a few years and let it appreciate in value.

Not long after that he won another raffle proving that some people are just born lucky. However, perhaps, as some have suggested, he merely gets back what he puts out.  He is proving to be a very willing, amiable and hard working member of our club and it is good to see him get his rewards.  Well done Shane!

(Editor's note:  There is no truth in the rumour that he will share his bottle of Grange at the next Rotary meeting on 30th January!)

Footnote:
Having purchased more tickets in the Wilma Preston Painting Raffle, Shane had every expectation of making it a hat-trick of wins when the prizes for the raffle were drawn on 28th January.  Unfortunately, Shane lucked out this time!
