Brothers and film makers Edvaard & Haavard Christie were recent guest speakers at the Port Fairy Rotary Club. Hailing from Hamilton they spoke about their 2 ½ year project
to make a feature film titled “Hang on to Your Hangers On”. The film was made in Hamilton and local community members featured as actors and in behind-the-camera roles. The film was made on a budget of about $5000 and Edvaard and Haavard did all aspects including scriptwriting, filming and directing. They recently screened the film three times at the Hamilton cinema and each session was sold out. They are now seeking wider distribution for the film by entering various film festivals around the world.
