Port Fairy Rotary supports worthy causes

The Board and members of the Rotary Club of Port Fairy recently agreed to donate funds to a variety of worthy, and diverse range of community-based organisations both within and outside of Port Fairy. The funds to be distributed are raised as part of the Club's annual fundraising efforts.
In an era where the Rotary Club has also been challenged to assist in raising $50,000 towards the construction of Rotary House in Warrnambool, the dominant component of this year's fund distribution is $8,000 towards Rotary House to supplement other Rotary House funds of raised by by the Club from other sources and other years. The total funds raised, to date, for Rotary House include:
The 2012 distribution of funds, totalling $12,686, is as follow.
* The outcome of the School mower project is dependent on grant outcomes also submitted by the Port Fairy Consolidated School to the Folk Festival Committee.
