President's report for June 2012
Hello Fellow Members,
My year as President is fast coming to an end. It seems only yesterday that we had the change over dinner and now we are ready for Margaret’s year.
Just on that, thank you to Alan and Margaret for filling in for me during my recent absence overseas.
Dinner meetings have been down a bit on attendance lately. I think illness, holidays, other community obligations, as well the cooler weather has accounted for this. Hopefully, we can get back to our usual Monday night’s attendance.
On the subject of illness, we all look forward to Rotarian Brian’s recovery and return to regular meetings. As well, we pass on our ongoing good wishes to PP Julie’s in her progress.
It was nice to see the Mortlake Club coming for a dinner meeting during May. They reported that they had a good night. We look to attending their next Show day, usually held later in the year.
Just a reminder about the change over dinner - as you are aware it is on the 25th June and all partners are invited to attend.
