Rotarians were busy on Friday 7th December helping to tidy up the town.  Rotarians Adrian Crosier, Gordon Harman, Kevin Matthews (pictured) and Harry Bracegirdle did their bit to help keep Port Fairy tidy by first weeding around the trees that the Club planted last year along the golf club road.

Having scheduled the working bee a week or so ago, we soon discovered that the Moyne Shire had already done a general tidying up of the grass verge.  However, as the Shire workers did not clear weeds next to the trees and inside the plastic windbreaks, the four Rotarians set about finishing the job off in time for summer. With time on their hands, they then did some general weeding around the south beach car parks before calling it a day.

ImageMembers are reminded that there will be a similar working bee next Friday (14th Dec) from 9-11am at Charles Mills Reserve (Rotary Park).  We need to do a general tidy-up and re-paint the flagpole.
