The Rotary Club of Port Fairy will be the beneficiary from the annual Port Fairy Police Charity Golf Day to be held on Monday 26th March.

Funds raised at this annual event are targeted towards a particular charitable cause and this year the funds raised, expected to be in the order of $10,000 will be directed towards the Rotary House project in Warrnambool.

ImageRotary House is the initiative of a number of Rotary Clubs in the Warrnambool and surrounding regions and will provide specialist accommodation in the vicinity of the Warrnambool Base and the St John of God Hospitals for those patients requiring cancer and other specialist treatments.  Accommodation is also extended to patient's family members.

The Police Charity Golf Day is organised by Senior Sargeant Mick Wolfe and other officers at the Port Fairy Police Station.
