The Rotary Club of Port Fairy welcomed a new member, Danny Warner, who was inducted by President, Hester Woodrup at it's Dinner Meeting on 30th June 2014.

Danny, who recently moved to Port Fairy with partner Sharon Arnold to take over the running of the Port Fairy Post Office, is a welcome addition to the Club's membership base.

Danny and Sharon moved to Port Fairy from Melbourne and have quickly settled into the life of the town, with the advantage of being in a pivotal location like the Post Office which brings you into contact with a majority of local residents.

Danny's sponsor for Rotary was Brett Murray who gave a brief overview of Danny's background before President Hester conducted the formal induction process and presented Danny with his dinner badge, hat and relevant Rotary literature.  Danny's daughter Caitlin was also present to witness the induction ceremony.

Danny is the only new member for the Club in Rotary year 2013/14 and only just made it in the year on 30th June!  After the ceremony he was congratulated and formally welcomed by all Rotarians present.

In responding, Danny thanked the Club members for their warmth and friendliness they have shown over the past few weeks when he was a guest of the Club.  He looked forward to engaging in all Club activities.
