Rotary supports the Moyne Shire's "Picnic on the Green"

The Rotary Club of Port Fairy provided assistance to the Moyne Shire Council's Picnic on the Green on 10th January during the Moyneyana Festival.
The day's activities were organised by the Moyne Shire Youth Councillors and involved day-long activities and concerts with free sausage sizzles cooked by the Rotary Club and the local Lions Club. Rotary cooked around 250 sausages at the lunchtime feed and Lions did their stint in the evening.
The contribution by Rotarians - Derek Southey, Alan Rasmussen and Harry Bracegirdle - was greatly appreciated by the Youth Councillors and coordinator, Geraldine Ralph-Edar. Despite the inclement weather around lunchtime all in the long queue for sausages got fed!
